Ryan stands up. It’s like he’s moving in slow motion as he comes over and sits down beside me. I don’t say a word, even when he sets his hand on my leg. Even when he starts moving it higher.

My gaze goes to Maiya. Her eyes are on us and even though I’m finding it hard to believe, she’s not bothered by what Ryan’s doing. She really is into it.

Maiya breaks their kiss and reaches out to touch my chest. “You’re really okay with all this? Because if you’re not, we can stop right now.
